VGM came into effect on the 1st July
In order to reduce the tangible risk created by mis-declaration of weight to the dock workers, ship and cargo, the amendment of SOLAS (Safety Of Life At Sea) convention is become necessary and VGM (Verified Gross Mass) came into effect on the 1st July, 2016 all over the world. Thus the weighing bridge is celebrated and certified by Bangladesh Standards and testing Institute (BSTI) also VOLSL is permitted by The Shipping Department/Ministry of Bangladesh to carry out VGM & issue necessary certificate. VOLSL ensured necessary procedure and arrangement in the facility for VGM (Verification of Gross Mass) of all Export Laden Containers. The task is being been carried properly with the satisfaction of the customers.
