VOLSL become GSV certified scoring 86% marks
After the event of 11th September, 2001, in the united stated of America, the governments and customs authorities around the world have implemented supply chain security standards to secure trade, protect against terrorist acts, and to combat illegal trafficking. The enhanced supply chain security standards and criteria, including C-TPAT, PIP and AEO, have been embraced and implemented by the global trade community. Intertek’s GSV program employs a cutting-edge methodology for promoting best practices throughout the global trade industry, enabling importers and suppliers to mitigate risks associated with the cross-border transport of goods. GSV program integrates multiple global supply chain security initiatives, including C-TPAT, PIP and AEO. Hence, the management of VOLSL decided to establish a global security verification process in the facility in order to increase safety assurance, risk control, to identify, mitigate and eliminate potential security risks, efficiency and cost savings for its customers and finally on the 13th October, 2015 the facility of VOLSL become GSV certified scoring 86% marks.
