VOLSL procure a Top Lifter or Reach Stacker (RST) from Konecranes brand from Sweden.
The management of VOLSL always fosters their dreams / plans and thereby strives to materialize the same in timely manner. In the mid of 2015, they foresee the increment in the handling of containers in the ICD according to the growing demand. As such the management decided to procure a brand new empty containers handling equipment. After study the market and handling activity or performance of such equipment, the management decided to procure a Konecranes branded Top Lifter or Reach Stacker (RST) from Sweden. Finally the RST reached at the ICD in November, 2015 and the same placed in operation with effect from the 1st December, 2015. The RST can stack up to 5th tier and very efficient and speedy in handling containers. Thus management ensured smooth and timely placement / handling of empty containers as per the requirement of the customers.
